Your Catholic cemetery : a sacred place

Hope Cemetery (Ottawa-Carleton), a Catholic cemetery established to carry out the sacred religious function of the interment and care for the resting place of the deceased. The cemetery which was solemnly blessed on September 26, 1988 , is affiliated to Notre-Dame Cemetery Ottawa. Hope Cemetery offers the most modern facilities, including an administration building, a chapel, a mausoleum, columbaria and a crematorium.

In today’s secularized world, the Catholic Cemetery is challenged by those who turn cemeteries into business ventures. It is our responsibility to cling to our ancient heritage.
